Fedora KDE users, you may want to check your updates. Plasma 6.2 should be waiting for you. :)

The Fedora KDE SIG is working on getting everything updated. If you don't have it available yet it should be there by the end of the week.

Thanks to the @kde community and our Fedora KDE SIG members specifically! :fedora: ❤️ :kdenew:

@daniel @exahamza It should be available for Fedora 40 and 41. Fedora KDE will go with the latest version of Plasma regardless of the supported release of Fedora. This is in contrast to Fedora Workstation which will stay with the version of Gnome that it released with.

I normally try to wait until the end of my workday to apply updates, but here we go!

How do these sorts of updates work with rolling distros? Specifically, do you loose settings/customizations?

super clean update, nothing broke, everything keeps working amazing! Cheers!
