Got a call that someone absolutely botched EOD and I started chugging my beer.

Good news... my auction winnings have arrived. Bad news... no time to debox things this evening.

Good morning, tzag, and happy Friday. Went to the movies and watched the Accountant 2 last night. Feeling a little sleepy today. Today is the second day with a caffeine cut. Down to one caffeinated tea in the morning. Now I'm enjoying my Teeccino. The manager I normally have lunch with is out sick, so I'm not sure if I'll be getting out for lunch or staying in. And tonight we have friends coming over for dinner and Doctrine study.

How're you doing today?

On a Linux webinar using Zoom and looking at slides made in Google Presentation and feeling a little disappointed.

I've been looking for a caffeine-free coffee alternative for some time, but had been unsuccessful in finding something that I enjoyed. Last night I went into MOM's Organic Market to find a product and stumbled across teeccino French Roast organic roasted herbal tea and I'm absolutely in love.

This Saturday, the 26th, there is a nice #OpenSource conference happening in #lancaster #PA. cposc.org

Many interesting topics, and maybe one about community-based podcasting. @hpr

See you there.

Good morning, tzag, and happy Easter. Church this morning followed by family coming over for lunch. After they leave I've got a Firestone Walker 2023 Anniversary Ale chilling that I plan on enjoying.

How are you doing today?

At least I got to crack my beer early.

I think I may have to listen to offline music only. I'm going to miss my streaming stations, but I can't take all the Christian nationalist artists. And I really don't have any interest in switching to services like Pandora or Spotify.

Fucking SKILLET is still around? Weren't they Jesus nu-metal?

"Christian metal" is an oxymoron anyway.

It's barely still morning here in Maryland, but good morning and tzag.

Even using diff, it took a second pair of eyes to find a typo. That's how my day is going.

How're you doing today?

Well, I won an auction tonight for some scifi autographs and some out-of-production toys. Can't wait to get them. I'm a little nervous. I'll post pics once I get them.

Fedora v42 was released today. So you released v41 the same day, v42 came out.

Are people going to need to wait for v43 to see v42 from you?

in reply to Linux Is Best

Ultramarine 41 has been out, we released our delayed images today

When I come upon a new song from an artist I'm not familiar with, the first thing I do is head to their socials to see if they follow Trump. If they do, hard pass. I don't have the time or energy to support them.

Happy Monday, all. Yesterday the fam headed to church. Immediately after we headed to the mall for a few hours. Came home and watched Novocaine, which was fun, but probably not a movie I'd watch more than once. Definitely not one for someone that doesn't enjoy gore.

Today it's an in-office today. Drive was great, thanks to spring break. Making an attempt at getting back on my diet.

How're you doing?

Good morning, tzag, and happy Saturday. This morning I need to catch up on some reading (I'm woefully behind) and then I have some copy to write. This afternoon my wife and I are heading to a housewarming party for some longtime friends.

How are you doing today? Any big plans?

Good morning and tzag. Another dreary day in Maryland, which made the commute a little rough. Just reviewing logs from the weekend this morning. A couple meeting later. Hoping today flies by (it won't). This evening I'll be doing some tech volunteering and then probably review some RFPs.

How're you doing today?

Good evening, tzag, and happy Sunday. Woke up late this morning, but still got to church relatively on time. Was on call and had to fix a server after church. Then the family and I went thrifting, stopped at a brewery, then headed to one of our family taco joints for dinner. Now relaxing and watching some TV.

How was your day?

I just realized that Friendica automatically splits my longer messages when posting to Bluesky. That's pretty nice.

I really miss the days when I could just be satisfied with LMDE. It's just hard going back to Cinnamon after experiencing Plasma 6.

Spent the day distro hopping. After installing the new video card I couldn't boot. Removing the driver didn't help. Live boots of both Ultramarine and Nobara were glitchy as hell. So now I'm giving TUXEDO OS a run, since they have a very, very up-to-date KDE Plasma experience.

Good morning, tzag, and happy Saturday. I got a new GeForce RTX 3060 last night. I went to install it today and it seems that I need a power adapter. I'm getting ready to head to Microcenter for the proper cable, so I'll probably get CFA for breakfast. Not sure what else is on the agenda other than a LocalAI install.
